Aldi, Target, and the Office Depot will all be on the agenda for advertisers in 2018.
Target, the largest U.S. department store, is a leading sponsor of the Super Bowl.
Aldi has become the first big-box store to sign a major ad campaign for the 2018 Super Bowl, the company announced Tuesday.
The company, which was first to announce its Super Bowl sponsorship, will make a splash at the event on Jan. 7 and will be on display at the stadium during the event.
Microsoft announced Tuesday that it would be a sponsor for the event as well.
The tech giant has long been a leading advertiser for the Super Banners of the World, an event held each year in Beijing that features the World Economic Forum and the Chinese government.
Advertisers are expected to use the platform to promote their products or services, but Microsoft is also targeting millennials, who tend to be more loyal to retailers than other segments of the consumer.
The Super Bowl is also expected to bring a renewed interest in the Superbowl.
A year ago, only 20 percent of Americans watched the event, according to a study by the Harvard Marketing Group.
